Black Cat by Ben Heine

Black CatBlack Cat Eyes

Look at you,
so sweet and mysterious,
the perfect shade,
of darkness with your reflexs,
and eye sight so keen.

Dark tainted fur,
eerie glowing green eyes,
your claws sharp and tipped,
a bad omen you are called,
as you let your voice out into the night,
exposing your fangs behind a frightful hiss.

Are you really bad luck?
Or just a misconception of a frightened little cat?

Society paints you as a perfect emblem of the darkness,
spilling its corruption onto the world,
in the form of four legs and dark painted fur.

Or could you simply be,
someone's sweet cat,
someone's whole world.

Those eerie green eyes they adore,
as the bell twinkles around your neck,
spilling bursts of sound through the air,
as you run to them with excitement.

I don't know about the others,
but your not just a cat too me,
you're my reason to breathe.
